I cannot wade from this shallow pool of sadness.
A sentimental shadow lurking, never far, closing the comical distance between this and that.
Time does not pass by me, it glides, sliding slick on its long precise course across my face.
Hollow twangs; infinitesimal, untraceable happenings that spur the longing soul.
The inner being patiently tapping
